This information is 90% sure: Vozdovac will not participate next season in UEFA cup because they did not get licence. Vozdovac is not going to appeal because they do not realy want to subject their books to UEFA's inspection (it is one of the conditions for participating). If you look a little into the past, you will see that Vozdovac progressed from 4. league to 1. league in a very few years. Also, Vozdovac finished 12. in second league last season, but they got into first league after merger with Zeleznik (after Zeleznik's bankruptcy), and suddenly bought whole bunch of good players and managed to win 3. place this season. I live 100 meters away from Vozdovac stadium, and there is a lot of talk that owner of Vozdovac is criminal, and that he can't allow anyone to see his books because it would earn him jail. Ofcourse, this is a country in "transition", so state is not interested in criminal.

I can confirm World Soccer has reported the same story (aside from the suggestions of criminality). "Vozdovac's players recently went on strike claiming they had not been paid for two months. Their mood was not improved by discovering club boss Zlatan Zdravkovic had failed to apply for a European competition licence for next season. The strike was called off after Zdravkovic promised the players they would be paid soon."

Zeleznik was founded on 28th May 1930. For Vozdovac I did not find this data. However on 28th June 2005 Zeleznik and Vozdovac merged and formed FK Vozdovac. It is almost certain that this merger is a football mafia thing.
